Aamir Khan And Hillary Clinton Concerns About Education

Bollywood Actor Aamir KhanAccording to the Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, a teaching job should be expensive to produce a talented and well educated generations. Khan delivered that in a discussion, together with US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, who visited the 140 years commemoration of St. Xavier’s College to discuss about education with the teachers and students.

"Teaching should be a high paying job so that youngsters should aim at becoming teachers. I would like to see that one day in India, teaching is the most highly paid job," said the actor dressed in casual pants with blue jeans, white T-shirt, and black jacket when talking about Teaching as a Profession.

"As a country, we should consider teaching as the important work. Unfortunately, we do not have the option because a more prestigious career as a doctor or engineer like expected by their parents," he said as quoted bollywoodworld.com.

Clinton agree with what was Khan delivered. "Aamir has come up with some excellent points to tell us what all is required to make education important. We have the best of educational institutes in our country but they are not for everyone. Part of our challenge is to provide education to those who don’t get it easily," Hillary Clinton said.

The Indian actor also said that education is the foundation of any society and community should take the responsibility to contribute something toward it.

"The most important thing about education is that it should encourage students to think. It should create people with minds to take humanity further. Today, our educational system emphasises more on memorising," Aamir Khan explained.
