Michael Jackson "The King Of Pop" Dies At 50
Legendary performer and World's Pop Music Icon Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50. Michael Jackson who was known as 'King of Pop' died on Thursday afternoon at a hospital in Los Angeles. Debra Opri, a former of Jackson family law adviser, has confirmed the death of Michael Jackson after some media reported that Jacko, other name of Michael Jackson had fallen into a coma.
Jacko reported has been picked up by an ambulance at 12:30 local time. Michael Jackson then taken to UCLA Medical Center, until finally this former of Jackson Five member died at 3:15 pm.
In a brief news conference, the performer's brother, Jermaine Jackson, said he was pronounced dead in hospital at 2:26 p.m. PT. It's believed Jackson suffered cardiac arrest at his home, but Jermaine Jackson said an autopsy will be conducted to confirm the cause of death.
A press conference likely will also be held on Thursday local time at the hospital where Michael Jackson died. There, the Michael Jackson's fans will gather to give honor and make some tributes to this all time legend.
Previously, Michael Jackson had been preparing and rehearsing hard for what was to be his greatest comeback in world music industry. He was scheduled for an unprecedented 50 shows at London's O2 arena, with the first set for July 13.
Frank DiLeo, Jackson's manager, told the Los Angeles Times that at the end of a rehearsal the night before his death, Jackson departed the stage very happy about the progress of the show.
"He just told me how happy he was and that things were finally working out the way he wanted," he said.
Johnny Caswell, a principal at Centerstaging, where Jackson rehearsed for the concerts, told the Times that Jackson was "very frail" but was working hard, putting in six-hour, four-day weeks to prepare.
